See Liverpool's new kit as the table-topping Reds launch their home strip for 2014-15

See exactly what Brendan Rodgers' side will be wearing at Anfield next season after they launched their strip for the 2014-15 campaign

Kolo Toure, Simon Mignolet, Phillipe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson revealed the 2014/15 Liverpool FC kit at Liverpool FC and Warrior’s very-first live kit reveal
Liverpool have launched their new kits for the 2014-15 season, with hundreds of fans flocking to their city centre store to attend the unveiling of their latest shirts.

The Reds enlisted Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson, Kolo Toure and Simon Mignolet to give 1,000 fans a first glimpse of the new uniforms at their city centre shop.

Unsurprisingly, manufactures Warrior have gone for an all-red home kit, featuring white piping, with Mignolet's home goalkeeper shirt an eye-catching pink.

Manager Brendan Rodgers believes the classic all-red look will inspire his current side.

“The 1960s was such a defining era for this club," he said.

"Sir Roger Hunt, Ian St John, Ron Yeats …the list of Liverpool FC legends that played under Shankly goes on and on. For the players to wear a shirt that has taken inspiration from such a successful period for the club, can act as a reminder that they can bring those glory years back to Liverpool Football Club.”

The kit has been produced using War-Tech, Warrior's cutting-edge system that features a highly breathable shirt as well as moisture-wicking to keep players dry.

The technology also incorporates a geometric LFC jacquard weave and a collar design that allows freedom of movement and comfort.

Well Red: Liverpool's 2014-15 shirt
Rodgers' side are set to return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2009-10 season and will sport the new kits at Europe's top table.

The new shirts will likely get their first outing on the final day of the season when the Reds entertain Newcastle - a game that could be the one that determines if they are crowned Premier League champions this season.

The four players who attended the launch also took to Twitter to take a selfie of themselves in their new get-up:

The Reds join Stoke and Chelsea in launching their new kits for next season.
